LA FLAG SCHOOL – The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee 2022

Did you know Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II has been queen for 70 years and is celebrating her Platinum Jubilee? The celebrations culminate in a parade in London on Sunday June 5th. We have been celebrating too. We love London; the red phone box, the double decker bus, Big Ben, the Queen’s golden coach and the colourful flags. We sang songs, made art work, and constructions of the famous bridge. The Stars ask to hear the chimes of Big Ben at the end each day! In elementary school, we took a virtual tour around London and saw many famous landmarks. This inspired more artwork, a mini book, a word search and a Union Jack fortune teller.
