FLAG SCHOOL KINDERGARTEN – Drawing with Shapes

In Kindergarten (4–5 years old), our young artists continued their journey through the Elements of Art. After exploring dots, lines, and colours, this month we focused on shapes.

Children experimented with creating colourful concentric shapes using both collage and painting techniques. They then discovered how combining the shapes they had explored could lead to simple yet visually striking images.

This playful investigation helped them recognise shapes in the world around them and use them creatively to express their ideas through art.
