“The earth gives us some of the most amazing tools to use as we learn and create with our children. It is important to encourage them to find their own interests in the natural world”.
From nature we get some of the most useful tools that help us encourage our students to develop interest towards their surroundings.
Easy Preschool Science Experiments
“Science experiments are one of the best things to do with preschoolers to keep them engaged in learning. They allow hands on experience while exploring their natural curiosity. “
Among the activities that most intrigue pre-schoolers there are without doubts the experiments, through which they can learn to explore with their own hands.
Fun Sound Science
“Sound is Energy! An energy that is caused by something moving backwards and forward – like the vibration on a guitar’s string. We will explore sound by creating our own instruments”.
“Young children become more confident and develop lifelong skills as they develop singing, dancing and drama skills”.
“Unlock your child’s creativity with coding. Games such as Code-a-pillar give kids an easy introduction to coding, encourage them to think about sequence and problem-solving. Point out how we can solve problems or reach goals by following a certain sequence of small steps.”
Students will be able to understand the fundamentals of Chemistry, Biology and Anatomy through experiments and processes which are essential to life such as electrolysis or osmosis. All of it will be supported with interactive material and each student will be encouraged to take part. Students will have the key to get how the world works around us. The aim is to stimulate curiosity towards the inner workings of nature.
Electricity and Electromagnetism
Our pupils will understand how electrically charged particles interact recreating basic experiments using magnets and other instruments like compasses and ebonite rods. Students will get familiar with magnetics fields and electric circuits.
Acoustics and Optics
In this laboratory our students will learn about sound and its most important properties using our interactive resources and taking part in experiments with the rest of the classmates. They will also see how important acoustics are in the real world discovering instruments like the tuning fork and the metronome used daily in the music field. In addition in the optics laboratory students will get to know how the light affects our environment and how optical instruments work using prisms and lenses and the support of visual interactive tools.
In this extremely dynamic laboratory students will learn lots of new words in English using movement in a fun way. Preforming Arts is an area which includes music, dance, acting and improvisation. Students will learn through singing, role play and the re- interpretation of stories and tales.
Students will get deeper knowledge of the IT world, in a theorical and in a practical way. Under the teacher’s supervision they will learn how to use correctly electronic devices as smartphones or computers, focusing on the importance of concepts like the privacy and security, preventing potencial risks. Also they will learn the basics of essential productive programs like the Office Suit, as well as other different tools as internet browsers, email services, antivirus, cloud computing or audio/video players.
